Hello Internet,
This is my first ever blog post and it is somewhat daunting, to say the least. It is something I have wanted to do for a long time and is also something that I have put off.
I'm not getting any younger so I have decided to go for it, write that first post, and go from there. This blog is going to be dedicated to my journey to "Passive" (we all know there is no such thing really) financial freedom. It is something I am passionate about and is something I really wanted to create for myself and my family.
A little about me, I am a software developer and have been for 5 years (from when I wrote this) give or take. I love all things tech and though I'm most likely not the best developer out there I do give it a good go and have endless projects to prove it. I have 2 children, 2 girls and they are my world and truly the reason I have actually taken this step to starting this. If I can by any chance create free time to spend with them and be finically stable I will be one happy man.
Each post will be a step-by-step of what I'm working on at the current time. What side projects I am doing and the reality of the time frames of doing it with 2 children. I will show what I googled links to where I got it from the problems/ features I was trying to create and hopefully it will help someone out there achieve what they want in their project.
Like I said there are going to be many different ways of doing various problems and please feel free to comment with any suggestions/ edits I am more than happy to learn with you. This is however going to be a safe place for people to make these suggestions. Comments will be read and deleted if necessary.
I just wanted to add a small get-out clause for me here. I'm no English student and my grammar isn't going to be perfect. (If Grammarly doesn't catch it then I won't see it) Please forgive me. Hopefully, the overall content will be enough for your forgiveness.
So wish me luck and I look forward to seeing your comments and suggestions.
P.S if you want to make suggestions for this blog (it's very simple) please contact me on the contact form.
Scott
